On the road

Harley Bratrude showed up in her classy PT cruiser and John couldn't resist.

We also travelled to Seattle (this time in the van) for a Mariners' game with Mary's mother, Elsie. Below left: John is flanked by Mary and her mom. Right: Peanuts and popcorn and  "isn't anyone going to offer me a beer?" Yes, John's No. 1 guy, Russell did.

"Lady, start your engine!"

 

 

"Conconully here we come!" It was John's first automobile ride without his wheelchair in nearly nine years.

With his appetite for the open road, it's no wonder John ultimately commandeered his son's wife Becki, his son's dog Freckles and his son's red BMW convertible (top down, of course) for a look at autumn colors.
